Yet claims of extortion, death threats against detractors, and tremendous acts of vigilantism, doge the man and his creation. Others claim that the site highlights the very worst aspects of the internet. With thousands of unchecked accusations of against both businesses and private citizens, the ripoffreport.com has become THE place for the disgruntled, rejected, misguided, or psychotic to air grievances, real or imagined.
The propose of this documentary is to a look at both sides of the issue and to examine the legal issues that posting unchecked accusations pose to both the accused and to web site operators.We are interested in speaking with people who have had experiences with the ripoffreport.com site.
